At Leston Holdings, being part of Edmonton means more than managing properties, it’s about supporting the families who call this city home.
That’s why we’re proud to be the Title Sponsor of Ben’s Cup, a youth hockey tournament that brings Edmonton and area families together to support children battling cancer.
Ben’s Cup is hosted with the Strathcona Minor Hockey Association. U-7, U-11, and U-13 teams from Edmonton and surrounding areas compete each year.
It’s a local tournament with a powerful mission: every team that plays is also fundraising. Young athletes aren’t just competing on the ice, they’re learning what it means to give back.
In Edmonton, hockey builds community. Ben’s Cup shows how powerful that community can be when it rallies for something bigger.
Funds raised through Ben’s Cup help bring Canada’s first proton therapy centre for children closer to the families who need it most.
For Edmonton families facing childhood cancer, access matters. The foundation’s long-term goal is to establish the Ben Stelter Centre for Proton Therapy and Neurosciences, giving families access to life-changing treatment without having to travel across borders.
Last year, Edmonton families raised nearly $609,000 through Ben’s Cup, showing the community’s incredible spirit.
Leston Holdings manages homes across Edmonton and the surrounding area. Our residents are families, kids, coaches, volunteers, and community builders.
Supporting Ben’s Cup is about giving back to the same neighbourhoods we serve every day. It’s about standing behind Edmonton families during their hardest moments and supporting programs that make a real difference locally.
We believe strong communities start with compassion and grow through action.
Ben’s Cup includes youth hockey tournaments and the Tournament of Hearts Curling Bonspiel, giving Edmontonians multiple ways to take part.
Whether you’re attending games, sponsoring a team, donating, or spreading the word, your support helps bring cutting-edge cancer treatment closer to home.
